ACRYLIC PRIMER 100% – Waterbased Primer for Exterior Use

Acrylic Primer 100% is a semi-transparent water-based primer made from 100% acrylic resins. It is used as an undercoat for any of DAYLUX’s water-based paints (emulsions, acrylics, etc.) It is applied very easily and it has high spreading
capacity. It improves the appearance, hiding power and weather resistance of the final coat. It is the most suitable primer for alkaline surfaces because it impregnates and stabilized them. Odourless during application, because it does not contain ammonia.

Description

Use on: Every exterior and interior wall or surface made of concrete, plaster, wood, hardboard, asbestos cement, bricks, etc.

Application: Apply by roller, brush or airless gun spray.

Packing: It is available in 750 ml, 3L and 10L.

Thinning: Add three (3) parts of water to one (1) part of primer.

Coverage: 18-20m²/Lt on properly prepared surfaces.

Drying time: 2-3 hours for the surface to be fully dried depending on the atmospheric conditions.

Recoat: After 6-8 hours. Under cooler or humid conditions, allow longer times.

Note: Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or detergent. Temperature must be above 5°C during application and drying time.

New surfaces of plaster, concrete, cement, plaster board, etc., should be sanded with a suitable abrasive paper, cleaned properly and then painted with DAYLUX 100% Acrylic Primer. Surfaces should be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease loose or flaking paint. Stir well before use.

Store in accordance with local regulations .Store in a dry ,cool and well- ventilated area. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use empty container for storing food. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin and eyes wash immediately with soap and water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container.

EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product(category A/h “Binding primers”, Type WB): 50g/l (2007), 30g/l (2010). This product contains maximum 6 g/l VOCs (ready for use product).
