MARTELITE – Hammerite Effect Enamel

It is an alkyd hammer-effect solvent- based paint. It is suitable for the protection and decoration of metallic surfaces and provides strong adhesion, quick drying and great durability to adverse weather conditions. It has good working and leveling properties and can be applied directly onto metal without using an undercoat. It gives an excellent hammer -effect finish.

Product Information

Use on: Suitable for metallic surfaces.

Application: Apply by roller, brush or spray gun.

Packing: Available in 750ml cans.

Thinning: For brush or roller application dilute with 5% D-200 Thinner, or for spray gun dilute with 10% D-200 Thinner.

Coverage: 8-10m²/Lt per coat on properly prepared surfaces.

Drying time: 1-2 hours depending on atmospheric conditions.

Colours: It is available in 15 colours card shades.

Note: Clean rollers, brushes, floor stains, spray guns etc. with Daylux’s Solvent D200.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be clean, smooth and dry, free from dust, grease and rust and well sanded.

Storage

Store in accordance with local regulations, in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Safety Precautions

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. In case of contact rinse immediately with plenty of water and if necessary seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
