ASTAR PLASTIK – Waterbased Eco Primer for interior use

Emulsion Primer is a semi-transparent water-based primer made from emulsion resins. It is used as an undercoat for all of Daylux’s interior paints. It can be applied easily and it has a very high spreading capacity. Emulsion primer improves the appearance, hiding power and weather resistance of the final coat. It is considered to be the most suitable primer for alkaline surfaces as it impregnates and stabilizes them.

Description

Use on: Every interior surface made of concrete, plaster, wood, hardboard, asbestos cement, bricks, etc.

Application: With roller, brush or airless gun spray.

Packing: It is available in 750ml, 3Lt and 9Lt pails.

Thinning: Add four (4) parts of water or three (3) parts for stronger result to one (1) part of primer.

Coverage: 18-20 m²/Lt per coat on a properly prepared surface.

Touch dry: It takes 15-30 minutes for the surface to dry. Depending on the atmospheric conditions. Recoat with paint after 6-8 hours.

Note: Stir well before use. The tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with detergent.

Surfaces should be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease loose or flaking paint. Use DAYLUX's Unoplast Putty to fill any cracks or holes. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, stucco, rendering, plaster board etc. must be coated with primer before applying any other emulsion paint.

Store in accordance with local regulations .Store in a dry ,cool and well- ventilated area. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use empty container for storing food. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin and eyes wash immediately with soap and water. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container.

EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE)for this product (category A/h “Binding primers”, Type WB): 50g/l (2007), 30g/l (2010). This product contains maximum 6g/l VOCs (ready for use product).
